Genesis Fibre Lasers

The machines use a different wavelength of laser from our CO2 machines and can be used to both cut and mark/engrave many metals. The more powerful the machine, the more the capability to cut and deep engrave metals (and some non-metallic materials).

The small engraving machines are much faster than our larger cartesian based machines as they uses a galvo-rotating mirror assembly to engrave at really fast speeds! The fibre cutting machine’s are cartesian based (using a typical gantry with X and Y motion of the head) and can be used to cut upto 30mm mild steel, 6-12mm stainless and 12mm Aluminium in the 3-4kW power band but a 500W will certainly cut 1.6/2mm stainless and 6mm mild steel.
